About the Project

Montana Hops began as a collaborative project between the many scattered hops farms of the great state to collectively promote the amazing quality and unique freshness of hops grown under the big open skies of Montana. As the brewery world continues to grow every year, both in and outside of Montana, this is an effort to build upon the successful agricultural foundations of our state to meet the demands of brewers by supplying them with high quality, cost competitive, and hyper local hops products. By bringing farmers and brewers together, we hope to make it as easy as possible to both grow and find Montana Hops for all!

One of the ways we you can connect and taste Montana grown hops at your local brewery is by keeping an eye open for the “Montana Hops” branded Tap handles! These handles are scattered around the state and always signify the beer that is being poured from that tap is 100% Montana grown Hops. These beers are especially popular during the Harvest Season and can be found as Fresh Hop beers of all styles during September and October of every year.
